The best photographs come when the subject is relaxed, happy and in familiar surroundings, therefore, I never work in a studio. Instead, I will either come to your home, or to some other location of your choice where your child will feel at ease and un-intimidated – a walk in the woods, or feeding the ducks, for example. Similarly, I always allow time before the “shoot” to play or chat informally with your child so that they feel confident around me without all the camera equipment.

As the mother of young children myself, I understand that your child may not operate according to an appointment book, so I always allow time for them to be in the right frame of mind before I start taking photos. If you’re happy to put the kettle on, I’ll wait!
