The last thing you need to worry
about on the day is giving instructions to the photographer so, beforehand, we
will have discussed and agreed any specific requirements that you may have. The
“usual” sequence of events then goes something like this:
I’ll attend whilst the bride is getting
ready to capture the preparations and those pre-wedding jitters!
then I’ll move onto the location ahead of
the bridal party and to photograph your guests’ arrival, pre-service
shots of the groom and his entourage, followed by the bride's
arrival and the key moments from the service itself
I try to keep the traditional post-service,
formal shots to a minimum although, obviously, we would have already
agreed the exact group shots that you require so that these can be
completed efficiently without keeping your guests hanging around for
too long!
And finally, it’s on to the reception
where, apart from capturing the usual formalities, I try to mingle
with the guests to get those informal gems that sum up what makes
the day so special
